If you are seeking self catering accommodation in the tranquility of the Orkney Islands, then The Annexe is the perfect place for you to relax. From the comfort of the lounge enjoy the fabulous view, from the hills of Hoy, across the expanse of Scapa Flow, to the Churchill Barriers. The Annexe is a completely separate and private bungalow adjoining the owners residence. The self catering cottage comfortably sleeps 4 people. The village shop, restaurant, and pub are just a mile and a half away, you can also buy your fresh eggs from our neighbour, supplied by his free range hens.

The comfortable lounge has two settees, electric fire, oil central heating, wide screen t.v, freeview box , dvd player , as well as numerous books, maps and information leaflets for you to use during your stay. At the other end of the lounge is the dining table and chairs with spectacular views across Scapa Flow. All heating and lighting are included.

The self catering accommodation has two bedrooms, one double and one twin room. Both bedrooms are very comfortable and quiet. Both rooms have large wardrobes. Linen is provided.

There is a bathroom with a large walk in shower, wc and wash hand basin. All towels, bath mats and a lovely selection of complimentary toiletries are provided.

A large modern kitchen with breakfast bar also enjoys the views over the sea. It has been fully equipped to a very high standard and contains:- Large fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher , ceramic hob and cooker; tea towels are provided too. There will be a starter pack upon your arrival. It will include a selection of Orkney specialities as well as bread, free range eggs from our neighbour, butter, milk etc and a couple of dishwasher and laundry tablets just to get your self catering holiday in Orkney off to a great start!

There is a washer and drier available in the laundry . There is an outside line, iron and board in the Annexe.

Outside there is a lovely private garden and seating area to take in the sea air. We have had guests have breakfast out there on a good morning! There is your own parking space.

Terms and Conditions
All bookings run from Saturday to Saturday. To help with change over we ask guests to vacate by 10:00am on the day of departure. For arriving guests The Annexe will be available from 2:00pm.
Payments
All guests are required to pay a non-refundable deposit of £100 per week to secure the booking, the balance being payable four weeks before the date of arrival. Payment in full is required at the time of booking for reservations made less than four weeks before arrival.
Please make all cheques payable to "Mr I Turner" and send to the address above. We are sorry we do not accept credit card payments. Acknowledgement will be sent for all payments received and details of bookings.
Cancellations
You must cancel your reservation within 21 days of your planned stay to ensure a full refund minus the non-refundable deposit.
